Cheese & Spinach Savoury Tarts
These tarts make wonderful appetisers and are perfect for a buffet at an event.
Yield: 6-8 Tarts

Ingredients
- 300g Short Crust Pastry
- 100 g Yellow Road Bakestable Cheese Filling
- 100g Yellow Road Low Melt Diced Processed Cheese
- Chopped Jalapenos to taste (optional)
- 50 g Diced tomatoes (optional)
- 50g Diced Peppers (optional)
- 50 g Chopped spinach
- Handful of Parsley (finely chopped)
- Paprika, salt & pepper to taste
- Tartlet tins or cupcake tray
Directions
- Roll the pastry out on a lightly floured surface until very thin. Cut out circles that are larger in diameter than the tartlet tins. Line the tins with the pastry circles. Re-roll any pastry offcuts until you’ve lined all the tins, then chill for 30 mins.
- Preheat oven to 180 °C
- Put the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well to combine.
- Divide the filling between the tartlets
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 – 20 mins until golden.
