Cheesy Chicken Puffs

These are a tasty appetiser and great for parties

Yield: 10 pieces


Ingredients

  • Ready to Use Puff Pastry Sheets
  • 300 g Yellow Road Bakestable Cheese Filling
  • 200 g cooked Chicken Breast (shredded)
  • Chopped Jalapenos to taste
  • 50 g Cooked diced potato
  • 50g Cooked diced carrots
  • 30g Chopped Spring Onions
  • Paprika, salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 Egg (beaten)

Directions

  1. Cut the puff pastry sheets into squares approx 15 cm in diameter and place on a greased baking tray.
  2. Combine the filling ingredients in a bowl and mix.
  3. Spoon filling onto the centre of the pastry squares, being careful not to overfill.
  4. Brush the edges of the pastry with egg.
  5. Fold over the pastry to form a triangle and press the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the pastry triangles with egg.
  7. Bake at 180 °C for 20 – 25 mins until golden.
