Sweet Cheese Cookies
These cheese cookies are truly one-of-a-kind and taste incredibly delicious. They pair perfectly with Yellow Road Low Melt Diced Processed Cheese – Red or Smoky. For a twist, try filling them with Yellow Road Bakestable Cheese Filling blended with a hint of coffee essence.

Ingredients
- 454 g Crisco Butter Shortening (or unsalted butter)
- 300 g White sugar
- 400 g Brown sugar
- 150 g Milk Powder
- 20 g Salt
- 15 ml (1 tbsp)Vanilla extract
- 2 Whole medium eggs
- 720 g to 750 g All purpose flour
- 10 g (2 tsp) Baking soda
- 5 gms (1 tsp) Baking powder
- 250 g Yellow Road Low Melt Diced Processed Cheese
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C
- Mix butter & sugar for a few minutes in a mixer on a medium speed, then add the eggs one at a time.
- Add vanilla, then slowly incorporate the flour mixture, do not over mix.
- Finally add the diced cheese to your cookie dough.
- Scoop the required size of cookies (either 80 gms or 100 gms) on a lined and greased baking tray.
- Bake for 12 – 14 min until they are golden brown but still soft
